Character & everyday life

At home, Marcus finds Cara to be a true family dog. She is watchful, has a strong protective instinct and is closely bonded to her family.

He particularly values her temperament and reliability as a loyal companion. I am delighted that Cara has found her place both in hunting work and at the heart of family life.

Hunting work & tests

According to Marcus, Cara works with great stamina and remains closely connected to her handler on driven hunts, particularly when working wild boar. Together, they attend around 20 driven hunts a year. Marcus says that thanks to Cara’s work, they are always welcome guests.

On 1 September 2024, Cara passed the hunting suitability test at Jagdverein Hubertus Eschwege e. V. in the following areas:
