Gończy Polski vom Pauelsgraben

MY DOGS · BRED HERE

Caya vom Pauelsgraben

Caya was born here and has been part of my everyday life from her very first day. As Dana’s daughter, she carries on a line that holds a very personal meaning for me. Yet she is no “second Dana”: Caya has her own mind, her own working style and a character all her own.

In the field, I particularly value her fine nose, willingness to work and stamina. She works with concentration and independence while remaining responsive and closely connected to her handler. At home, I know her as a friendly, confident and balanced bitch who is quite simply part of the family.

APPEARANCE & TEMPERAMENT

Substantial, true to type and confident

Caya is a particularly substantial bitch with strong bone, well-developed muscles and a feminine head that is very typical of the breed. Her dark eyes, correctly carried ears, very good angulation and ground-covering, fluid movement were highlighted.

Her black-and-tan coat matches the typical appearance of the Gończy Polski. The conformation report describes her behaviour as friendly and confident; she successfully completed the temperament test for breeds directly managed by the VDH.

HUNTING PERFORMANCE

Tested natural ability and hunting suitability

Caya’s records document giving tongue, steadiness to gunfire, obedience, flushing and demanding blood-tracking work.

I particularly value her strong natural hunting abilities, excellent nose and great willingness to work. She hunts with stamina while remaining closely connected to her handler. She works out tracks and game carefully and with concentration. In direct contact, she is attentive and determined, can hold game securely at bay and adapts her approach to the situation with a clear head.

THE NEXT GENERATION

Caya carries on Dana’s line

Caya was born in my C litter and stayed at the kennel to continue the breeding line. I am planning the next “vom Pauelsgraben” litter with her, based on her health, unrestricted breeding approval, hunting tests and breed-typical temperament.

Caya – hunting dog and family member

As important as tests and breeding assessments are, Caya is above all the dog I live, train and hunt with every day.
