Here I will gradually share equipment that has proved useful in my everyday life with hunting dogs. What matters is whether something is safe, useful and practical, rather than a big brand name.

If I feature something, it is because I have used it myself and can explain what I like about it, as well as any weaknesses or limitations I have found. Choose equipment to suit the task
Good equipment must suit the dog, terrain, task and stage of training. It does not have to be the most expensive option; it has to work reliably.

Training & handling
Leads, long lines, whistles, reward systems and training aids, with the emphasis on a sound foundation rather than shortcuts.

Care & supplies
Paw care, wound care, water, transport and recovery, practical and adapted to actual needs.
MY EXPERIENCE
I would only recommend something I would use again myself.
When I feature equipment here, I explain what I used it for, what worked well and what I like less. A recommendation always reflects my personal experience; it is no guarantee that the same product is the best solution for every dog, hunting ground or type of hunting.
