Bartosz vom Pauelsgraben

HUNTING IN PRACTICE

Independent in the drive – reliable as a team

Bartosz mainly accompanies his handlers through the drive during the driven-hunting season. They describe him as giving tongue on the scent and on sight, keen to find game and possessing a sound degree of sharpness. He independently seeks contact with game, works through dense cover and remains cooperative and responsive despite the independence typical of his breed.

Bartosz also shows his ability on a blood trail. He works calmly, with concentration and the necessary confidence. Unfortunately, his handler’s work commitments leave insufficient time for regular follow-up work. However, Bartosz reliably and confidently handles shorter follow-ups arising during their own hunting.
