OUR OFFSPRING · A LITTER 2019
Ansgar vom Pauelsgraben
Ansgar comes from my A litter and has lived with Maik Schmidt since puppyhood. He is worked extensively in hunting and, as Maik describes him, combines great willingness to work and toughness in the field with a quiet, friendly temperament in everyday life.
Gończy Polski · Male · born on 24.03.2019 · 58 cm · HD-A · VDH-approved stud dog
HUNTING & TEMPERAMENT
Determined in the field, relaxed at home
Maik regularly uses Ansgar for tracking wounded game. He describes him as focused, enduring and uncompromising in his work, particularly on wild boar. According to his handler, Ansgar takes part in around 35 driven hunts per season. He also reliably indicates dead game by barking at the carcass.
At home, another equally important side emerges: Ansgar has lived closely with the family and children since puppyhood, is friendly and relaxed, and gets on well with two other Gończy Polski on the property.
